Gregorian Emerson Family Law Solicitors announce alliance with the SCF group of companies

Gregorian Emerson Family Law Solicitors is pleased to announce an exclusive alliance with the prestigious SCF group of international legal and financial services companies, based in Imperial Wharf, Fulham, London (www.scfgroup.com). The alliance will be known as SCF Gregorian Emerson Family Law Solicitors.

Barry Spencer-Higgins, CEO of the SCF group states

"Headed by Richard Gregorian, Gregorian Emerson Family Law Solicitors brings to the market the unique combination of a former commercial law partner in two city of London law firms who has a highly successful personal and professional track record in family law, particularly where international issues are concerned, and through the involvement of Gavin Emerson, a consultant to the firm, a joint legal and psychological approach to family matters.

Consistent with being a former city lawyer, Richard fully understands the need for proactive, solution based advice available at the client’s convenience. Due to his own successful experience of the family justice system, in his own international matrimonial litigation, he is fully empathetic to the importance of client service and guidance at the very difficult time of family breakdown. He deals with both financial and children matters in the context of family breakdown.

Whilst clearly from the experience of SCF working with him in the past, Richard has the courage of his own convictions in basing his practice on this unique joint legal and psychological approach to family law, by his own admission he believes that all family lawyers, due to their training, lack the necessary skill set to deal with all aspects of family breakdown, involving as they do issues of human behaviour, decision-making and interaction. It is for this reason that he consolidated his professional relationship with Gavin Emerson, who has been a practitioner therapist for over 20 years and is Director of Academic Studies of the prestigious Brief Strategic Therapy Foundation. Gavin has been instrumental in developing the brief strategic therapeutic approaches employed at out clinics in Medico-Legal cases and has developed professional training courses in the brief treatment of anxiety and trauma for psychiatrists, doctors and nurses.

By combining their skill sets they offer clients a strategic service based around the unique psychology of the case and of the individuals involved which has proven highly successful in not only settling cases out of court but of building and presenting cases in litigation, particularly where issues of mental health are concerned."

Richard Gregorian says about the alliance:

"In choosing which family law solicitor to represent your interests at a very important and stressful time in one's life, it is vital to ask 3 questions. First, has the solicitor a proven track record of success in their own case? Secondly, are they able to provide added value to the case by presenting a strategy for the successful completion of the case, benchmarkable so that the client can evaluate that success as the case progresses? Thirdly, is the solicitor able to build a case around that core strategy? We have proven these three tenents in every case we have been involved with and the time has come to expand this service further into the marketplace. Barry Spencer-Higgins and his colleagues at the SCF group of companies share this understanding of the present inadequacies of current legal service providers and, therefore, endorse fully the joint legal and psychological approach Gregorian Emerson Family Law Solicitors have used for the benefit of all of its clients".

Whilst an alliance at this stage, it is fully intended by Richard, Gavin and SCF that an even closer working relationship will result in an eventual merger between the two firms.
